How do you turn a print magazine into a website?
This is the challenge put forth to Pacific Rim Magazine’s 2018 web designers Sabrina Loeprich, Jeremy Reay, and Karolina Filippova, who will be creating the entire look of this site. Yesterday they presented the rest of the team with their initial prototype, and perhaps we’re biased, but it looked exceptional. Think modern, simple, and full of dreamy pastels. It is based off our print version’s cover: a conceptual illustration inspired by our theme of transition.
Today the designers are back to the drawing board (or rather, InDesign document), armed with critical feedback from the team and instructors. We can’t wait to see the polished version, and watch it transform into a live, working website.
The new langaraprm.com is set to launch mid-August.
