We are pleased to announce the launch of 2019 website for Pacific Rim Magazine!
Each year langaraprm.com gets a new look from the colour scheme to the article formatting. To reflect the theme of the print magazine, we brought our clean and modern style to the web. We wanted our articles to have room to breathe and to showcase the gorgeous photos our photographers captured this year.
As artistic individuals, our desire to design something visually appealing was important to us. We determined the look we wanted to create together, and different teams worked to make that look a reality. It is fitting that our theme is “Community Matters,” as our Publishing program community worked closely together to make everything happen.
It took two and a half months to produce the print issue, and, amazingly, only one and a half months to create its online counterpart. Pacific Rim Magazine’s website is 100% created by students. Many of us had no prior knowledge of web design, HTML, and CSS at all. We appreciate the efforts of all our teams but especially acknowledges our Web Designers and Front End Developers for their incredible accomplishments.
