Publishing first grabbed Isabelle’s attention when she watched The Devil Wears Prada (2006). In her writing classes at Vancouver Island University, she realized she was better at giving unsolicited critiques than she was at writing. Isabelle was the Art Director for Portal 2017 and the lead Humor & Entertainment editor for Douglas College. After graduating from the DPUB program, she hopes to find a job that combines her writing and design skills. She is a firm believer that the publishing industry should widen its scope to allow marginalized voices to be heard, and hopes to help new and emerging writers find their voices.
